We've RAISED OVER $25,000 FOR CHILDREN OF ABUSE, EXTREME POVERTY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
- Built a recording studio at a Haitian orphanage in collaboration with music producer, and singer, Margot Bingham
- Sponsored singer, Eleanor Dubinsky, to teach songwriting to adolescent mothers in Costa Rica
- Sponsored 65 children to receive a year of education
- Paid four teachers' yearly salary
- Brought eight classroom computers
- Sent ballerina, Gina Pazcogiun to teach 40 Nicaraguan orphans their first dance class
Feminine Weapon Day started as a way for us to celebrate the warrior-like power women behold. We are weapons of consciousness and love. We show up for ourselves and for our people with odds stacked against us and the weight of the world on our shoulders.
We are the hope. We are the healers. We are the Mothers of the Universe.
